Description

Front Ball Kick (lead)

Lead knee up then kick out striking with ball of foot.

Round front Ball Kick (rear)

Pivot front foot while bringing rear knee up and kick out striking with ball of foot, torque front foot and hips into the kick.

Side Kick(lead)

Bring front leg up while pivoting on rear foot so you are sideways to attacker and snap foot into attacker kicking with heel of foot. Land back in original neutral bow or step forward into other neutral bow.

Round Side Kick

Bring rear knee up while pivoting on lead leg then do a side kick with rear leg.

Skip in Side Kick (shuffle)

Skip/shuffle rear leg forward while executing side kick with front leg. Land forward or skip back after kick.

Straight front kick

Like front ball kick except snap so kick strikes up with top of foot. Can use front leg or roundhouse from rear leg. Skip in can also be done.

Lead Wheel Kick

Bring front leg up while pivoting on rear foot so you turn sideways to attacker and snap foot into attacker kicking with top of foot. Land in original neutral bow or step through.

Round Wheel Kick

Bring rear leg up while pivoting on front foot so you turn sideways to attacker and thrust foot into attacker kicking with top of foot. Land forward after kick or step back.

Inverted Hook Kick

Can use lead leg or roundhouse with rear leg. Executed like side kick but kick past target, and then hook leg back striking with heel and bottom of foot. (dragon kick) Can also done as a spinning back/reverse kick.

Rear Kick (donkey)

From a Neutral Bow, hands up for balance and protection, look behind as you then kick back behind you with heel of foot toes down.

Reverse Kick (spin back)

Bring rear leg up as you rotate outward on lead foot looking back over your shoulder fire side kick into target and land forward in opposite neutral bow.

Oblique Kick

Bringing rear leg over lead like front cross stance striking opponents lower leg, shin, or top of foot with the instep of your foot.

Crescent Kick

Can be done inward or outward with lead or roundhouse with rear leg. Leg comes up partially bent and leg is swung up then outward or inward striking with inside or outside of foot.

Knees

Can be thrust forward, upward or inward depending on target location.

Reverse Crescent Kick

From neutral bow, back leg comes up partially bent, twist body backwards and swing back leg around to strike with outside of foot.

Ax Kick

Natural stance. Bring leg across body and up in the air back towards body and slap bottom of foot down on attackers opposite shoulder and land heel of foot on ground.

Front Scoop

Front leg up, into attackers groin with instep and pull back towards you.

Rear Scoop

Bend rear leg at knee, heel up quickly kicking up into attackers groin with heel and pull towards you.

Shovel Kick

Done with attacker on the ground. Do a low thrusting kick with the heel of the foot. This is to be done in one fluid motion.
